What are "Non Geographic" Numbers?
Non Geographic Numbers (NGN) are telephone numbers that do not relate to a single location in the UK. These numbers start with either 03,05, 070, 08 or 09 (i.e. 070, 0300, 0800, 0808, 0844, 0845, 0870, 0871, 0872 and 09).
Can I keep my existing numbers?
Yes you can, Non geographic numbers simply forward to your landline or mobile phone number. There is no limit to the amount of phone numbers you can have to the same target.
Do I need to purchase any hardware?
No, all hardware is hosted at our secure premises. There is no financial investment required by you to start taking advantage of (08) numbers. This also means that there is no installation costs, training costs or insurance as this is already supplied, supported and covered by us.
I can't see any fees? Is this really free?
If we say this is free then it really is. There are no hidden charges, fees or skeletons in the closet!
We take a small commission from BT which is why we can offer this service at the prices we do.
Can you direct calls to mobile phones?
Yes. Any one of our numbers can be directed to mobile phones, however there are costs involved. If you would like to direct 08xx numbers to a mobile please contact us on 0844 504 4000.
Forwarding 08 numbers to mobiles costs between 9ppm to 16ppm depending on the number range used and the network that the mobile is registered to.
How long does it take to setup my new number(s)?
New numbers should be live within 1 hour of a working day, outside of working hours the activation may take upto 24 hours.
0800 and 0808 freephone number requests may require one of our account managers to contact you to setup a credit account or take a pre-payment for the service.
How do I see if my number is being used?
We provide you will full access to Waphoo, our website which is designed to provide you the administration of your numbers. From this website you can track the number of calls, duration and update the 'Target' destination of your number(s).
How do I activate additional services such as fax to email?
